Paralegal Internship, Crime Victims
The Crime Victims Program provides critical legal services and safety planning to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse, exploitation, and trafficking across Texas. Our attorneys provide survivors with legal assistance and representation for protective orders; criminal justice advocacy; lease terminations; family law matters; and crime victims compensation.
You will be working closely with our paralegal to provide administrative support to the Crime Victims Litigation program. You will work with attorneys to draft, revise, and file legal documents. Additionally, you will also be responsible for legal and administrative functions.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN
You’ll be working with six attorneys who practice both criminal and civil law. You will learn the ins-and-outs of Texas laws and procedures, and gain experience in the public service sector. In addition, you’ll learn about:

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPENSATION
Currently enrolled in an accredited paralegal certification program.
This is an unpaid internship. Reporting and oversight available for course credit.
