Online Legal Help for Texans Impacted by COVID-19
More than ever, low-income Texans need civil legal help. Unemployment, evictions, and managing child custody are just some of the COVID-related legal issues fellow Texans are seeking guidance on during these extraordinary times. We're looking for compassionate law students to donate their time and talents to address this increased need for legal assistance through our LiveChat program.
LiveChat is a service on TexasLawHelp.org, a website dedicated to providing free court forms and legal information. Visitors can connect with attorneys and law students in real-time through the LiveChat feature. Law students can help visitors find the legal information they need and resources that may be of further assistance.
Join us for a virtual presentation and Q&A to learn more about this pro bono opportunity. Register for the LiveChat Volunteer Orientation session offered for your Law School (see list below). After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information on how to join the presentation.
