Texas Free Legal Answers Student Volunteer, 2026-2027

We're looking for law students to help us provide legal information and resources to low-income Texans statewide.

About the Program

Texas Free Legal Answers (TxFLA) is a virtual legal advice portal for low-income Texans.

The Type of Work You'll Be Doing

Many Texans ask questions on the portal, and we need the help of 2L and 3L law students to give information and resources to clients who were unable to receive advice from volunteer attorneys.

Students working only over the summer will commit to 2 hours per week, on their own time, throughout the entire school year.

Students will meet with their supervisor every 2 months to review progress.

Applications will be accepting on a rolling basis, with the aim to complete the training and get students started working by the third week of August.
