About the Program
Texas Free Legal Answers (TxFLA) is a virtual legal advice portal for low-income Texans.
The Type of Work You'll Be Doing
Many Texans ask questions on the portal, and we need the help of 2L and 3L law students to give information and resources to clients who were unable to receive advice from volunteer attorneys.
Students working only over the summer will commit to 4 hours per week, on their own time, throughout the school year. Students working during the summer and fall will commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week.
Students will meet with their supervisor every 2 months to review progress.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in law school.

Remote
TIME COMMITMENT
You must be able to commit to a minimum of 2 hours (Summer and Fall) or 4 hours per week (Summer only). You can volunteer at any time during the week that fits your schedule.
REQUIRED TRAINING
There will be a two-hour training led by our TxFLA Managing Attorney, Mary Rios.
