Our heart goes out to all survivors of the Texas floods over the July 4th holiday, and we will forever remember those who have lost their lives. To aid recovery efforts, we gathered a list of resources in the civil aid community to help survivors with:
housing issues (repair issues, lease termination, FEMA benefits, insurance claims, mobile home issues, repair and contractor scams, foreclosures, etc)
document replacement (birth certificates, social security, marriage license, drivers license, etc)
income protection (public benefits application, wage theft, unemployment, etc)
consumer protection matters such as price-gouging and avoiding contractor scams
