We are thrilled to share that Texas Legal Services Center (TLSC) attorneys will be presenting at this year's Poverty Law Conference. Our dedicated team will be offering their insights and expertise on a range of issues, providing attendees with practical strategies to better serve low-income Texans.


Hosted by the State Bar of Texas, Poverty Law Conference 2024 is designed to educate legal aid attorneys on the latest poverty law issues affecting low-income Texans and to connect fellow advocates dedicated to access to justice.

Brief Advice: Online Resources To Fill the Gap Between Information & Representation

This session will explore how four online services—TexasLawHelp.org Chat, Parenting Order Legal Line Chat, Texas Free Legal Answers, and AskKarla—provide brief legal advice to low-income clients. Attendees will learn how these resources can help clients who cannot afford an attorney and how to integrate these services into their workflow.
