Free legal clinic and helpline for tenants who have come face-to-face with an eviction notice.
Texas Legal Services Center is hosting Eviction Legal Clinics in seventeen rural Texas counties, including Hardin. Residents at risk of eviction can meet with TLSC Attorneys who can advise on tenants’ rights, guide people through the eviction process, potentially negotiate with landlords, and provide in-court representation for those who are eligible.
"[Renters] don't know that they're entitled to certain notice and their landlord has certain obligations that they have to meet during the eviction process."
